Some countries release travel restrictions that make travelers can’t go out as free as they want. The latest data shows that global international tourist arrivals decrease more than 50%. So, how do the condition of some countries with popular travel spots during the pandemic? 

Australia

Australia has a lot of popular travel spots to visit by local or foreign travelers. COVID-19 epidemic affects some places, such as Cairns and the Gold Coast. These two places report that lost earnings of more than $600 million during the pandemic. Imagine that Australia closes over 100 stores because of the low travel demand. The worse thing is that there will be over 6.000 staff unpaid and lose their jobs.

South Korea

Korea is one of the most famous travel destinations. K-pop seems to affect people around the world to come to this country. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 epidemic ruins everything. Staycations have become popular because people can gather and spend their holiday as they are at home. People choose to travel by car because the government reduces the gasoline price.
