In addition, the Indonesian government also prohibits foreigners from England from entering Indonesia, either via direct flights or transit.

This is due to the existence of a new variant of the Corona virus originating from the UK.  This provision applies from 22 December 2020 to 8 January 2021.

The following are additional provisions that must be obeyed by Indonesian citizens and foreigners who will enter Indonesia:

1. British foreigners (direct flights or transit) cannot enter Indonesia

2. For foreigners and Indonesian citizens from Europe and Australia, Indonesian citizens who come from the UK who intend to enter Indonesia must show the results of the RT-PCR test in their country of origin.  The test results are valid a maximum of 2x24 hours before departure.

3. Upon arrival in Indonesia, foreigners and Indonesian citizens who have completed their trip are also required to perform another RT PCR test.  If the result is negative, it is mandatory to quarantine at a place provided by the government (for Indonesian citizens) or hotels / inns that have received Ministry of Health certification at independent costs (for foreigners).
