the Latimojong mountains are known to have seven peaks and each peak has its own name. .deadlocked Rante Mario as the highest point on Sulawesi Island, followed by Buntu Nenemori as the second highest point, and other peaks namely Buntu Sinaji, Buntu Sikolong, Buntu Rante Kambola, Buntu Bajaja, and Buntu Latimojong. in the village of Karangan which is the starting point of the climb there is a fairly large clear water river named Salu Karangan. In this village too, climbers who need porter services can request services from local residents.

there are seven resting posts that can be used by climbers to rest or set up tents before reaching Rante Mario Peak. After passing post seven, the vegetation begins to change. Tall trees begin to decrease, so the view is more clearly visible. past the seventh post, the climbers will meet a field that has a branched road. This branch directs the climbers to two different points, one towards Rante Mario Peak and the other towards Nenemori Peak. if you have arrived at the summit of Rante Mario, the climbers will be treated to views of other peaks that are part of the Latimojong Mountains. While the peak itself is marked by a triangulation monument in the middle of a fairly flat land, which says Peak of Rante Mario.
